Would you rather have peanut butter or honey on a toast?

I would rather have peanut butter than honey even though I also like honey.

I find peanut butter is lovely in just about anything, and I have actually had honey and peanut butter together and quite like that combination.

It is however, a lot of sugar.

I like the photo you used, Finy, but I could never have NO butter under my jams, honey or Vegimite! I tried making scones YEARS ago, when our oven did in fact work, but they turned out like little bullets!

I adore peanut butter and would have it day after day after day at school for my lunch in sandwiches! A real comfort food whether alone on a spoon or with other substances such as chocolate,jam,or even Tomato and black pepper on crunchy toast!

I love peanut paste and honey together. Also try vegemite and curry powder.

I am not all that keen on peanut butter..find it very rich nowdays....I looove honey and on toast I love cheese and honey or jam together

Largely it depends on what sort of bread it is, but home made peanut butter is normally my topping of choice.

Generally I would prefer peanut butter - I find it much more filling! My daughter went through a stage where she was having peanut butter and honey on bread two or three times a day - I felt a little ill at the thought of her consuming that much sugar!

I eat my peas with honey, I've done so all me life, it makes the peas taste funny, but it keeps them on the knife.
Mind you, it makes a difference to get proper honey, especially of a single variety thats not blended or imported.

Love crunchy peanut butter and honey especially on fresh bread rolls or toast. Happy either way and if you haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing.

I prefer peanut paste on toast as I find honey a bit too sweet. However, even better than peanut paste is Vegemite on toast.

Marie, Vegemite is probably way too salty, but I have it everyday anyway, & sometimes with cheese on top! I brought a small jar of the cheese-vegemite, after a friend told me how wonderful it was, but I couldn't make my self open the jar, thinking it may be awful, so I had to throw the jar out, after about 3 years unopened! Ops.

I'd love both together on toast or bread! At boarding school, when our cooking teacher left the room, we'd sneak into the pantry & have a slice of bread with butter, brown sugar & coffee grains! How gross is that now?!!!
