I used to always eat the white ones - in fact I don't know if they yellow ones were always available?
Then one day, i bought a yellow by mistake, and have always eaten yellow since then.
They seem to be sweeter than the white ones however am cutting down this year on stone fruit due to the many poisonous chemicals they have to put on stone fruit to stop disease and fruit fly.
Also unless I buy at the most expensive shop, I am often disappointed in the quality of peaches.
