Would you prefer to travel around Australia or overseas?

I think maybe overseas, I have always wanted to see Paris.

I have been to a few places, but not there...I have some French in me....so my heart is drawn to it.

Prefer? That's a tough word to use!!!

I have plans to go to Kakadu with the kids on a road trip at some point. I also want to go to India, China, Scotland, and South America. I think I'll wait til the kids are grown to go overseas though.

So, no preference really, just a preference about who my travel companions are

I would love to see the rest of Australia, but I would equally love to see other parts of the world. Perhaps love is too strong a word. I would like to do both, but honestly, I'm content to just relax in Fiji for the rest of my holidays. LOL.

The big trip around Oz would be amazing - visiting all the quirky off the beaten track destinations along the way. Beaches, rivers, lakes, country towns, big cities, deserts, forests - it would all be so inspiring.

Great Ocean Road is something I would love to travel.

While I'd love to visit Europe and steep myself in all the historical sites...I really and truly love travelling around Australia. We still want to see Tasmania (well...I do, my partner HATES the cold and would whinge the whole time!) and Western Australia. The Nullabor is on our list of places to visit as well as Broome and the Kimberly's and Cape York.

I think probably around Australia.

Have been to many places overseas and the only ones I would like to see are Hungary and Greece.

So I think I would prefer Australia as have not done right up North on the east Coast of Australia.

I wanted to see Australia and that was the one thing we planned to do on our move here and although we have seen quite a bit I was completely unprepared for just how big this country really is. with only 4 weeks annual leave a year and the expectation to take about 2 weeks of this at Christmas, makes it almost impossible to see the further away places. I think,the retires who buy the motor home and travel have the right idea.

I would select both. For me either would add up to the same thing - an overseas trip. Since I'm not an Australian national.

Wish list: Alaska Passage, Patagonia, Iceland, Jordan????, Atlas Mtns., Hawaiian Volcanoes, Rhine River Cruise.

Here: Helicopter flight over Katherine Gorge, Cruise along Kimberley Coastline, both King & Kangaroo Islands.

If WON a big Lotto, would do AGAIN: Mexico, Penang, Day Flight to Antarctica, Tour by bus, UK, Ireland & Spain!

Travelling is THE best education in the World! (Shame it costs sooooo much to do!)

As much as I'd love to see more of Australia it's far too expensive when you compare the value of what you get overseas to what you get in Australia for the same amount of money. Hence my travels overseas.

I'd love to do the grey nomad thing and see all of Australia. Still havent been to NT or WA .
