Would you like to live in an old style two storey house?

It seems nice for the first 10 mins.

Then I think about the night time, and how big and dark they seem to be.
I'm useless in places like that...my mind wanders about the rooms that are unoccupied?...If someone can get in, or what is lurking around the corner.

I think they are wonderful for big families, but for just one or two people no thank you.

I'd love to live in a house like this. I adore the beautiful facade of these older homes. There is one house near where I live and I slow down every time I pass to take in the beauty of it.

I love the look of this type of house. I like to take photos of them and admire the architecture and details like the lacework. However, I would not want to live in one. I don't fancy all the cleaning, the cost of repairs and general upkeep. At times, especially when I am very tired, my imagination would run riot and I'd get jumpy about odd noises and such.

Our eldest daughter & her partner, did in fact buy a house similar to the 1 in the photo, but 1/2 as wide. I think it was 144 or 145 years old when they bought it.

No I would hate it.

They may look great, however I would not live in a two storey house, old or new.

I find the steps too much of a nuisance even when I was younger and didnt have a back problem, or any other problems!

Also they are usually very dark.
