No. Alas I get seasick just looking at a boat moving up & down! I'm sure it would be fun, but my stomach just would not tolerate it.

No. Not really. I like the stability of having my home in one place 24 hours a day. That whimsical lifestyle doesn't suit me. I'm not the adventurous type. I love going on cruises, so I don't mind being on the water, but I like to come home as well. I also like to have room to spread out and a comfortable abode. I don't think a boat would be that comfortable. Cramped and tiny are words that come to mind. For a single person it might be ok,but to have a family sqashed in a boat it would be hellish. Living on top of each other with no privacy. No thanks. 5 star luxury with best of everything on a cruise is the only way to sail the seas and then to return home again to our permanent abode.

I love swimming at the beach. I love travelling on a boat/ship on still water. I love going fishing in a 'tinny'.

I've travelled on both sightseeing boats, & commuting boats on the GBR, especially going to/fro Hayman Island, many times, along the Whitsunday Passage.

But be a 'boatie'? Nope, doesn't interest me one jot. I like 'terra firma' way too much, & the less 'terror', & the more 'firmer', the better!

This is one reason I've never been on an ocean-going cruise ship. It just doesn't interest me.

I love flying to my destination(s), & spending the time there. This I've done all my life, & I ain't gonna break that habit now! Way too old to do that!

No I wouldn't like to be a boa tie in Australia. But I would love to live on a canl boat in the UK. I imagine freezing cold winter day, books (and TV), warm meals snuggled up in a chair, or bed. Looking out at that freezing cold day. Of course I am a bit worried about how I keep that boat warm……………have to look into that further.

No, I wouldn't like too, because I'd always be worrying about the boat breaking down, or turning over in rough weather. but my husband would love to be a boatie! So far, he's only owned 2 tinny's, & has recently sold 1 of them. He never uses the boat/s!
