Colonic hydrotherapy (otherwise known as colonic irrigation) is a popular (albeit fairly invasive) natural procedure to flush out toxins in the colon area. During the treatment, things are not pretty, although you come out of the other end much lighter. There are ample benefits on the back of this treatment from clearer skin to weight loss. Three hourly sessions are advised, spaced out over a 1-2 week period. Would you go for it?

Have had it, and the health benefits are fantastic. You do need to maintain a strict detox for a few weeks afterwards. However, I'd not have this treatment again, as there are cheaper and less invasive ways to achieve similar results. It feels like you're in hospital during this treatment. Not pleasant, although the treatment is all good after the initial catheter part.

Not for me. I'd imagine its hugely cleansing but I'd prefer to seek other ways to cleanse and rid my body of toxins than such an invasive method. My friend swears by them to help her skin which admittedly is very healthy and clear but unless this was a medical necessity, I'll be opting out.
