Would you go on holidays to go shopping?

No! I have been shopping when on holiday but the idea that it would be the primary purpose of the trip.... well, it would have to be one hell of a shopping mall and offer something far beyond what is available online and locally. I'm not aware of any such place.....
I like to use my time on holiday to find out more about the place where I am staying and if possible really see something of the country. I'm not sure this would be possible in a shopping mall and if that was the best the country could offer, then I probably wouldn't be interested in going there to start off with!

Exactly like me! Why go overseas to do something I can do in the next town!? Shoes are shoes!

No way would I go on holidays to visit a mall! I've heard about the mega malls they have overseas and I'm somewhat interested in SEEING one, but it wouldn't be the sole purpose of my trip. I'd be sight seeing and exploring nature, and the shopping centre would be the last place we'd see.

I certainly never intend to ..... although in recent years, I have made a point of having a six monthly escape to Melbourne to do some shopping and to visit some alternative restaurants. I guess that probably means I am a yes ?

I may have a look, it's always very different in other Countries.
I wouldn't if Christmas time....no way!
See the different items, and culture of their shopping...that may be interesting in itself.
Something to tell friends when I got home too.

I hate shopping and shopping centres so that would be a no for me. I especially hate going to shopping centres that I an unfamiliar with. Boring...

Generally no. Unless I have a particular need at the time. Or if its actually the most appropriate time to acquire a particular item.

I would like to visit Edmonton Mall one day, for this purpose. But I went to Melbourne earlier this year for two days of shopping. It nearly sent me over the edge, so perhaps not.
