I would go, but if it ment killing animals or anyone doing any kind of animal shooting, absolutely Not!
I am so against that kind of thing.
I would like to see most of the animals, that live in Africa. The big cats, elephants, it would be a great time away.
Safari now is not about killing the animals only by observing them in their natural habitat. Any killing of the animals should be persecuted
I would love to go on a Safari in Africa, sleep out in tents at night and look at the incredible animals up close (well, from a secure vehicle) during the day.
I would want to go on an eco safari where possible. By this I mean one that has ecology in mind and also wants to not put the animals in harms way for the sake of touristic economies.
Yes, yes, yes!!! This is my number one to do list/bucket list!!!!! I'm obsessed with african animals (ask my family!). The expense is a major deterrent though, so it's something I'll have to put off for a few years yet. My fave african animals are meerkats, but I would have to say cheetahs and lions would be up there as well. To see them in their natural environment would be the most mind-blowing thing I've ever done. Mandy E.
Only if I'm in a guided tour and my safety is guaranteed. Seeing wild animals in their natural habitat is nice, but I don't want to take unnecessary risks.
I don't like travelling, or being without my home comforts and basic amenities. I also don't like feeling scared or in danger, so wouldn't go on safari. I must admit that being able to wild animals in their natural environment would be pretty amazing though.
I'd love to go on a Safari. In fact it is on my Bucket list. I would love to see elephants and tigers in the wild.
So India not Africa? I'd not thought of that. I assumed safari meant Africa (funny how we have ideas in our heads that we don't even know define our views. Even tho her photo is a tiger.) Ha!
Yes. Definitely an African Safari :)
I've been to a Safari in Masai Mara in Kenya and it was everything I had hoped it would be and more. I would jump at an opportunity to do it again.
I would (not shooting, obviously) but it's pretty expensive for five of us and there are other things I'd rather do &see first.
I would go to watch and observe these beautiful creatures, never to kill them.
MY husband & I went on safari twice in Zimbabwe, way back in the early '90's. It was very cheap back then! We slept in a treehouse 1 night, & I was wandering what animals would be walking around the tree, if any, while we were sleeping! On the 2nd day, we were in a clearing in the jeep, when a herd of elephants came through the trees. We were asked NOT to use our camera as the clicking noise may startle them. 1 of the elephants came up to us, & it took my breath away, (so to speak.) It had VERY long eye lashes, i noticed. I remember sitting there, staring at it, thinking, "This is better than having a million dollars" It was a wonderful experience I'll never forget.
You know the scenario, it's cold and the kids are hungry
