Singing is not for everyone. Or is it? With a few restaurants and bars that host karaoke nights, it seems to be a popular activity. Is it something you would give a try or have already tried? Did you enjoy it and would you do it again in the future? Would you recommend to others?
Absolutely! Not because I'm good at singing, but it can be a really good laugh if amongst friends. I've been on a few girls' nights out at the places where for a few dollars you can hire a small karaoke room. This way you can sing Madonna to your hearts content with only your friends to watch (or laugh at) your renditions.
I do. Done it plenty of times, The last time I did it was last year at a private work function at Strike. It was n 80's theme and I could not stop singing Bon Jovi's "Livin on a prayer."
Not in a million years - or someone was holding a gun to my head. I hate making a spectacle of myself or doing anything in public. I consider karaoke a punishment rather than treat.
I have never tried it and I have no inclination to try it in the future. I have only seen very drunk people try in movies and they always make a spectacle of themselves.
Sure! I used to do it quite a lot! I had a group of friends and we would hit the karaoke shows. It was always a great night out. Much better if you do a bit of breath training though, so can actually carry a tune.
