Probably not. I think it would be hard to get to know someone that way. Sure, I know a couple of people who have met that way, but most I know who have been on the online dating scene haven't met anyone they really connected with. Bit harder over a computer screen. I'd rather just get on with my life (if I were single) and see if anyone turned up in the old fashioned way.
If I was single - probably. However, I would also be suspicious of all events until I can prove the person on the the side is the same person I am believe I am talking to - no some serial something or other!
As a last resort - I'd go for it.
However, I love the old-fashioned way of meeting someone at a cafe and striking up a conversation about the book I'm reading/the cappa I'm drinking and see if sparks fly. Take it from there and go on a date if all goes well :)
I met my husband on a dating site 11 years ago.
There are plenty of weirdos out there but you are just as likely to meet them in a bar as you are on a dating site,
Trust you instincts. if it doesn't feel right it probably is not
You know, I think online dating is a great wayout for shy and akward people. I`m an online dater in some way. I`m trying to find my soulmate on https://kovla.com/datings/us/trenton/ . I have already met one cool guy there. We are going to meet in real next week.
