I have not learnt CPR, so I could probably do basic things that I have seen on television, however not having learnt it, I would let someone else who knows more than me about it, perform this.
I actually think it should be compulsory for us all to learn it, but do not know how they could police this!
Put it on the biology class curriculum and have a test on it at the end of the year?
Bryony that is a brilliant idea!
Yes I have because I have my senior first aid certificate.
I could try and copy what I've seen done on TV, but I wouldn't be sure I was going it correctly.
I need a refresher course...when a flight attendant many years ago I was qualified in this regard but not now..I would have a go of course to try and save someone's life.
Unfortunately, no. I really think I should learn to though.
Absolutely - I just redid my First Aid Course refresher, so I think I would be fairly confident to perform CPR if need be.
I have had some lessons, and would give it a very good attempt, if needed
and no one else was able to help.
I should get more lessons, it is one of those things in life, we all need to know and do.
I think you can have a look on You tube, at least get some idea. :)
Yes, I took a first aid course last year and I plan on doing it again this year so I can refresh my memory
Unfortunately,I must admit that I would NOT be able to do CPR!! I am simply not strong enough to apply the necessary pressure.
I was a first aider many years ago and the training has stuck with me. I think it's an important skill (that could save lives) and I think everyone should have some first aid knowledge. My husband took a first aid course when we first became parents as he had literally no knowledge of how to do any first aid.
I also have the Australian Red Cross App on my phone which can provide basic training to you, and also a point of reference in the event of you being first on scene to administer first aid. I'm a huge fan of this free app and I've encouraged my friends to download the app too. - http://parent101.com.au/product-review-first-aid-app-by-the-australian-red-cross/
Yes, have learnt it for when kids' were small.
Also have up to & including Instructor Badge in Lifesaving.
Also St John's Ambulance qualifications, which I had to have for work.
I have my senior first aid certificate and am capable but whether I'd be able to or not if put on the spot I hope I never have to find out
Not really, but I heard in Norway you can't get car licensed without cpr certificate

Yes and I believe it is a handy thing to know and all should enquire where to get training, there will be a day when it may be needed, learn and be ready for that day.

Yes. I am trained in CPR and do yearly updates. Fortunately, I have never needed to perform it in a life or death situation, but it is important to know it, as you never know
I have learnt CPR but that was years ago, probably wouldn't hurt to do a refresher coarse, but if I had to do it with directions, knowing that a person's life is at risk, I think I would do it.
