Who is your female role model?

History is filled with amazing women. From the incredible sacrifices of Mother Theresa to Rosa Parks simple act of refusing to move to the back of the bus, these women inspire us, motivate us to make our own mark in the world, and ultimately provide us with hope for a better future for ourselves and our daughters.

Which women, living or dead, do you consider your own personal role models?

I have so many but I can narrow it down to Julia Gillard for her work as PM and showing incredible grace under fire, Malala Yousafzai for possessing more courage and conviction than I could ever dream, and Amelia Earhart, just for being a badass!

As crazy as it may be....I found Wilma Flintstone mine!
She had to put up with Fat Freddy.
She was nearly always in control (95%).
Always up beat....and very female at the same time.
Strong too!

There so many female role model but if I had to pick a few I would say Mother Teresa for her love for people, Erin Brokovitch for her indomitable spirit and Julia Gillard for being as tough as nails.

I have to agree with many of you -Mother Teresa, she loved and helped out so many people. She is definitely an inspiring role model.

I don't know if she's a role model, but I like Elizabeth Blackburn and that she stood up to the Bush government for what she believed in, at her own peril.
I use her as my example of a kick ass lady...
