At home, Dad would sleep with the remote control in his hand to ensure nobody changed the channel on the TV.

I do in our household, but I take all my direction from my wife, so I guess you could say I have it by proxy ;)
Haha, very good Damien. :)

Hubby definitely. I wouldn't be game to touch it.

It all depends who gets to the living room first. First come, first serve.
My Son.

It's his t.v.

I have my computer, so it works fine for us.
My husband, but we the programme selection is a democratic process.
I hold the remote control in our house. And I'll never let it go!
What a typical response, lol! My dad is the same, he holds the remote in his sleep!

The kids have it in the mornings/afternoons. In the evenings, my husband. I don't mind at all, as all my favourite shows are on the computer/youtube. I don't watch a lot of TV anyways, and when I do, my husband and I have similar choices.
I control all ten of them as I am alone -WHAT POWER, eh!!

Ten?! Oh my gosh Finy? What on earth are they all for?

I would say my wife controls the remote. I don't watch TV as much. There are only a few programs that I care to see. I will watch the other programs in passing while the wife and kids do the serious watching.
Moi. I also hide it in creative places to thwart certain people who come to my house and think they have the right to take over my lounge and television . . .even changing channels away from what I was watching.

Rice, I didn't realise my grandfather visits you. LOL, that's not fair. He used to be like that, but I don't know him well enough now to know what he's like these days. So silly, these people.
