No. In fact if there are 2 teams I don't know, I tend to empathize with the loosing team. Also this reminds me of an anime called noragami. There is a god of poverty and if she bets on someone that person will loose.

I often cheer for another team or competitor in athletics as I believe a good, or great, effort should be applauded no matter who they are. Their effort deserves to be recognised.
