Which do you prefer: Sudoku or Crossword?
I have seen people around the world spending their spare time during lunch hours, while waiting at train stations or during plane rides working on puzzles. There are books dedicated to these activities. They train your mind. Now these puzzles have an "app" version as well.
Are you into puzzles? If yes, are you a words person or a numbers person i.e. do you like puzzles such as crosswords/word finds/word descrambler/scrabble or Sudoku and others?

Definitely crosswords. I am so not a numbers person so Sudoku frustrates me. I am not 'into' puzzles, but occasionally they can help pass the time. I like problem solving type puzzles that ideally don't involve numbers.
I only play find the word.
The others 'do-my-head-in'.
Hi jonaj I love the images you upload to ever single one of your answers :)
Bless ya heart, glad you like them :)
Funny you should say this, because I have just recently downloaded a word search app and spent a long time playing. I like word searches, but hate sudoku. Im rubbish at it. I do like magic square though. I don't mind some crosswords, but I can't stand the cryptic ones; I like plain simple clues.
I have never been into crosswords or Sudoku. Although I think they are both great for keeping your brain active.
I like Sudoku better, and crossword puzzles are too difficult for me. I have Sudoku books and apps. I like word games such as Word hero and scrabble, so I have apps for those as well.
Crosswords. Have never caught onto Sudoku.
I don't do crosswords or sudoku, but I do like word descramblers.
They are fun aren't they :)
I definately prefer Sudoku! It's universal as anyone from any place can understand numbers and patterns, while Crosswords are more local/cultural. Sometimes if you didn't grow up in the place you may not figure out the words they are looking for.
I can't be bothered with either but my hubby loves Sudoku. He does these puzzles every day, from the newspaper & his Sudoku book he buys from the newsagent. He does the puzzles on the bus on the way home & will then sit down after work for awhile & do more. He says he finds a relaxing way to wind down after work. To each their own.....
I prefer Sudoku - you only need to know a simple method to eventually figure out the puzzle. Whereas crosswords, you need to have a hugely broad knowledge of life, the universe and everything. I have come to find (while not stereotyping) that elderly people tend to be better at crosswords. But, I'm practicing - we'll see. :)
I used to prefer sudoku but now prefer word game apps. I Like Bonza where you put the words together but my favourite it word solitaire.

I don't get Sudoku. Numbers and I do not get on. People have said to me - it's not maths , it's patterns. Hmm ... Patterns are maths. I love words though and enjoy some particular brands of Crosswords. I would love to be able to do cryptic ones but they are too tricky and frustrating.
I just love crosswords. Whiling away a wet afternoon on a rainy day, doing crosswords, is relaxing and pure bliss. I'm not good with numbers, so Sudoku is not for me.
I have no idea about Sudoko
As long as it's tv or movie question related, am ok at.
All else, forget!
But I do play 'Scrabble', too!
