Which actor playing Tarzan did you like the best?

Oh dear, having asked this question the only name I can remember is Johnny Weismuller and I think he was before my time.....without doing a Google search, my mind is blank -0I know there were several I really like but obviously my brain does not think this is an important piece of information to store and retrieve!!

I always remember Ron Ely as Tarzan ,more than the others,despite the publicity which surrounded Johnny Weissmuller.due to his Olympic swimming prowess. Ely was Tarzan in the 60's

Johnny Weissmuller! He was 'Jungle Jim' on TV! Loved it!
Wow! He could sure SWIM!
How marvellous to be able to swim so well, or any sport actually, that you'd be of Olympic standard! Nice to dream, though. I got to State level, so happy with that!

I was thinking of Brendan Fraser but then my husband pointed out that he was actually in "George of the Jungle"......same jungle....same loin cloth....different character.....ah well!

Johnny Weissmuller. I loved watching Johnny swim knowing he had been an Olympic Swimmer with 5 Gold medals. Ron Ely was too smooth for me after Johnny.
