When in the shower, do you wash your hair or your body first?

I wash my hair first and I think it is because if you washed your body first, the dirt from washing your hair would go on your freshly washed body.

Sounds strange but that is the only explanation I can think of.

In winter perhaps it will dry a tiny bit before you have to get out of the shower and thus be not quite so cold....

I shampoo my hair first then put on conditioner then whilst that is working I wash my body. Then I rinse off conditioner and shower gel all in one go and then I have a cold shower all over :)

Oh and the reason is that it is the most time efficient way to do it - I need to leave the conditioner on for two minutes before rinsing so I use that time to wash the rest of me!

I actually cannot wash my hair in the shower due to my arthritis!!! I wash it over the sink I have purposely had installed in my gorgeous brand new laundry which has the most brilliant multi-position tap in the world!! The tap was more expensive than the entire sink and cupboards!!!! So getting back to the question...I wash my body!!!

I put on the shampoo, wash that off, put on the conditioner, wash my self, then wash off the conditioner.

I wash myself first and then my hair. I don't have a reason for this I've just always done it this way

I put shampoo on my hair before getting into the shower, and mix it in, then wait 5-10 mins, then
go have a shower, as normal.I like it to give a nice clean.

I wash my hair first, then, while my hair is soaking, I wash my body just because it seems to be efficient.

I don't wash my hair every day...when I do I always wash it first and leave the conditioner on whilst I wash my body and then lean over and rise my hair

I wet myself, hm that needs rewording - I wet my hair, face and body then apply shampoo, face cleanser and body wash and then I wash it all off at once then I stand in the warmth of the shower for ages before applying conditioner and washing that out.
