I love buying salads if they're available - especially the ones that have unusual ingredients or would take me a long time to prepare. I'd much rather eat these than fast food.
Funny you should ask, I am drawn to the salad's, they look amazing!
They have all kinds of Yummie things put together, so absolutely salads. :)
Plus, I don't feel bad after having it. Win-Win.
I don't eat at food courts much so on the odd occasion when I do I just get whatever I feel like, be it salad, pizza or mud cake. I used to be kind of addicted to Sumo Salad. I think it's a little expensive for salad, but their was a shop really close to my work so I could nip out and get some really quickly and they have a good range. I am a bit lazy when it comes to making salads at home so it's nice to have someone do it for me for a change.
I don't often eat in a food hall as I cannot make up my mind what to get, however when I do I usually think of what is healthy. I sometimes wish I didnt as the unhealthy things are usually the nicest.
Basically, yes I do go for the healthier food, rather than the greasy, non healthy ones.
If I'm in a food court, there is generally only one place (if I'm lucky) that I'll be able to eat because I have coeliac disease and can only eat gluten free food. It's usually a salad (Sumo Salad style) or a muffin from somewhere like Muffin Break, but both suit me fine. Usually I'm just glad I can eat anything other than the obligatory gluten free orange and almond friand that every place seems to offer. I'm not a fan of going hungry, so a full tummy that won't be sick later on is good by me.
