We usually put ours up as close to the start of Advent as possible, so that we can get the maximum enjoyment from it! Putting all the decorations and the tree up really kicks off the start of the festive season for us :)
My Mom's the same! Love it!
End of November / start of December so we can enjoy it for the whole month before Christmas.
Yep it's the same at our family home too!
My mum does it the night before Christmas, but my mother-in-law does it around the beginning of December. I don't think I'll put one up this year because of my son, who'll probably attack it the first chance he gets. I may put up a table-top one. If I do, it'll be closer to the beginning of Advent.

The night before Xmas? I've never heard of that! How interesting!
How annoying, more like. I can't get into the spirit of things without the tree! LOL.

We used to put a baby fence around our tree Vee, otherwise we wouldn't have had a tree up at all for years

My family usually puts it up after the 7th of December, going by the old tradition.
That's interesting! Where are you from? In most European countries, the old tradition was to put the tree up on Christmas Eve. What is special about 7th December?
I try and put up my christmas tree on the 1st December. Sometimes I get a little busy and don't get to do it until a week later.

December 1 usually! But with an overactive toddler we might not put it up this year, he would take everything off it and make a giant mess!
We put our Christmas tree up on the 1st December every year. We leave it there until about the 30th December. I don't think it is a good thing to still have it up in the New Year.
Now, not at all.

When kids' were home, went up at Advent, & down '12th day of Xmas', around 5-6 January!
P.S. So too, beautiful 'Nativity Scene' my Mother bought just after the War.
