What's your take on the perfect homemade pizza?

Do you make pizzas at home?
If so, what do you like putting on the fresh delicacy?
Do you go all out and make a generous offering - similar to the supreme? Or is a simple margarita pizza more your style?

My husband likes to make it with haloumi, olives, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. I love it like that.
I make my base with yoghurt to make it extra light. I then use tinned tomatoes for the sauce. For the topping, I use red peppers, cherry tomatoes, chorizo and cheddar.
Love homemade pizza.. Nice thin base homemade sauce then whatever is leftover in fridge goes on it
It's got to have a really thin crunchy base and a bit of salty spiciness in the toppings - and pineapple of course!
Love home made against packaged or processed pizza any time. It needs a decent amount of sauce, and it needs to be gluten free.
If you have a decent home made GF recipe I would love it. I have been trying for 2 years to make an edible GF pizza base and the are all horrible.
As long as it has pepperoni I'm happy
I love home made pizzas though I do not make the base myself -I buy Lebanese bread, or other thin crust.

I have many filling that I really like, the majority using Pizza sauce in the sachets on the base.

I have used pumpkin, prawns, chicken, sundried tomatoes, onions, chorizo, lots of cheese, tuna, red peppers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, olives, pineapple, bocconcinni etc etc.-not all together!

They are very yummy and you can put as much or as little as you like on top.

I no longer buy the bought ones as they are too fatty.

Being diagnosed Coeliac almost 2 years ago, home made pizza was the only option for me up until I recently discovered Pizza Capers do a gluten free which is actually edible and safe from cross contamination. Before being gluten free we still used to make home made pizzas every now and then (on much nicer bases than I have had to endure lately) even though we bought Domino's quite a bit.

Pizza is still my holy grail. It was one of my absolute favourite things before Coeliac. I haven't had a home made GF pizza I really like yet.
I have never made pizza at home. There are some things that we reserve for "outdoor" eating. But I've had home-made pizza and it is always more delicious than store bought. Having said that, we have found a store close to where we live that makes pizzas as close to home-made, and we almost always order from that store now.
