If it is actually fresh I love a whole fish to myself I love whole flounder or a whole mullet or a whole anything fish, a bonus is a butter sauce but not absolutely necessary. Just a sprinkle of salt and some fresh bread and butter alongside. Heaven. I can remember the Leagues Clubs in Sydney and surrounds used to have whole flounder and they were enormous and the club used to have special plates to serve them on. Absolutely heavenly. Also used to be prawn nights. Probably don't any more.
But I like all seafood if it's fresh.
