I like pop, soul, reggae, a lot of 80s music, but also some of the current artists. Thankfully my 12 year old keeps me in the loop.
My favourite genre is rock/pop, but I like different music for different purposes. If I'm relaxing in a chair or on the bed, then I like classical music, but if I want to dance about, then pop/disco songs from the 50s-70s are best.
Reggae and hiphop make me happy. Punk's good for when I'm angry. I also like a bit of pop, some silly mashups (not a genre but I like them), some jazz, blues and the odd bit of classical. Trance music is the best for running to.
I like both alternative, chill out and dance/techno (nightclubbing) style music. All adapted to the mood of one at the time :)
My tastes are catholic. Be it Metallica, Queen, Niel Diamond or Joan Sutherland, if it hits the spot I'll play it and replay it.
Progressive rock is a very exciting music genre as it only gets better and better :-)
I'm a big fan of indie rock, folk and folk rock. I'm also a big fan of supporting my countries musicians, most of my itunes library consists of Canadian bands.
I like rock and roll to dance to and reggae in the car.
Old time jazz and blues.
Old time jazz and blues.
You can't beat 70's & 80's music if you grew up in that era like I did. It always brings back memories of my childhood. I also love easy listening music like the Eagles, Neil Diamond etc Mandy E.
It depends on my mood. When I'm depressed I love heavy metal/rock. When I just want to chill or play with the kids I love 90's music :)
Pop music.
Spanish Flamenco, Light Classical, some film & musicals' soundtracks, Cuban, Argentinian, great %age of the 50's & 60's music, which, like classical, will be all-enduring!
I'm about the same
