My father putting me on his shoulders, taking me downstairs, and joking as he did...and placing me in a chair, and warming my feet by the fire.I had just woken up.
To this day, it is my best memory ,because I felt so loved.
When my family and I would go exploring the eastern states of Australia in our little caravan during the school holidays. We visited some very beautiful places, and I think travelling like this ignited my lifelong love for travel and nature.
Climbing trees all day long and picking apricots on the farm with my cousins. A very happy and idyllic memory - looking back, I feel so fortunate to have had that time with family and hope to pass something similar on to my kids.
Spending time at the beach with my Dad. We'd build sandcastles, sand boats, racing cars and then go surfing out where the big waves were! Simple pleasures!
But in summation, probably would be getting my two-wheeler bicycle, & riding a horse for the very first time, at 9!
The latter's still a 'passion', many decades' on!
