Actor, Rupert Grint once bought an ice cream van. What is the most ridiculous thing you ever bought on impulse? Do you still have it?

Years and years ago.
I went out to a huge shopping centre we live near.
I went for some bread.

Came home with a Rabbit fur jacket!...and no bread.
(That's when it was ok to wear fur).
Not that it is ever o.k....just saying :)

No don't still have it, gave it away 12 months later .
I've my Mother's beautiful shoulder Fox fur. That's FOX, not faux!
I still wear it to functions. It looks good, & is very warm.
I love it for itself, but especially because it WAS my Mother's.

Don't have any qualms about wearing it whatsoever. My Mum bought it after the War, from a leading furrier store in Sydney.

I wouldn't buy one today, only because I don't have a 'disposable' income anymore!
AND I don't need more than the one I have, anyway!

I can't wear high heels, but about 8 years ago I was going on a date with my then boyfriend (now husband) and I wanted to look nice and thought heels would be the way forward. I found a pair of sky high heels, absolutely gorgeous, but totally impractical. I wore them for the first half an hour of the date and then had to take them off. I wierdly still have them now and still can't wear them.
I don't think I have ever bought something particularly ridiculous on impulse. I am very considered when it comes to making purchases.
Sad to say but I don't think I've ever made a ridiculous impulsive purchase. I'm a regular impulse buyer, but can't think if anything ridiculous that I've bought.
A gorgeous black chandelier for $500. I have always wanted one, and when it was time to get new lighting in my lounge room I took the plunge. Unfortunately in the lighting store it looked smaller and once I brought it home and assembled it I realized how large it really was. It is still in my lounge room and I love it however it would look better in a house with high ceilings. Oh well.
On 2 different occasions, I bought a novel I'd read and liked very much.
I didn't retain them both, I gave one away to a friend. Came to know, he also liked it much.
If my memory servers me well I think the worst impulse purchase I've made was a cheap tablet online. The screen broke the very day I eventually got it. I was mad about it for a while.

Have never bought anything ridiculous on impulse!

Buy some things on impulse though.

Most recent were a painting which I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. And a big clock that looks like a big fob watch, for my Lounge Room wall. But it's Roman Numerals', which I love on a clock or watch!
