We are always out exploring and often come across some friendly fauna including kangaroos - like the above two at Mambray Creek, emus, koalas and the not so friendly creatures like snakes and spiders!

We see birds mostly, but I've seen pademelons, echidnas, platypuses, and we saw a lyrebird once - that was the coolest thing!
We have certainly come across kangaroos while we've been on hoildays. My brother and sister in law currently have a rather large one regularly visiting their back paddock in outer easterm Melbourne. We saw an echidna in the Gippsland Lake area. While we were in outback NSW we saw plenty of emus (but we were driving not walking). Around home there are quite a lot of rabbits and I have also seen possums and foxes in the evening.
Nothing exciting - birds, foxes, that's about it.
A mob of kangaroos hopping away from the country Victoria train line, a blue tongue lizard years ago at a school camp site, an echidna at a local gardens reserve, a goanna up a tree in country NSW.
Mainly birds.
Lots of birds.
Different type of birds, water birds especially as I walk around bodies of water often.
