Last night I ate some [link http://reviewclue.com.au/mnago-flavoured-liquorice-with-white-chocolate-by-darrell-lea/ of this}, and yesterday with a cup of coffee I had a shop bought Florentine biscuit.
I usually have dessert of some sort at night but have a friend staying, and only had the liquorice last night.
whoops, sorry that should be
this
Yesterday I had a coffee ring, one of those choux pastry treats filled with cream and topped with coffee and chocolate icing. It is but one of many wonderful cakes I love.
A couple of days before that I had a littleround sponge cake with a fresh cream centre and passionfruit icing.
I just love cakes, pretty much any cake. Yummmm. Anyway, isn't it a rule that you must have cake with coffee.
Yes Gayle, How could 1 just have a cup of coffee/tea on it's own??? I just love a cake of some sort with a coffee. When a friend & I have a coffee after lunch, we share a slice, or a slice of cake. And what about all those lovely little cakes at a
buffet after the main meals? YUM!
Some totally scrumptious Dark Chocolate coated Orange Slices which a dear friend sent to me as I can no longer buy it up here in North Queensland!! Oh! What a treat!!! It has been about 6 years since I bought any,and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Caramel Popcorn! And a 'Drumstick', after Dinner!
Then at bedtime, a Lindt 'Dark Chocolate', & 'Sea Salt Caramel' ball, each.
All good!
Thanks donjo, I didn't even know Lindt had salted caramel balls. If there dark chocolate ones, I'll go & buy a small box of them, when there on special again They would last me a few months, because I'd cut them in 1/2's, & only have 1/2 a 1 a day. I'll check them out next time I'm passing the Lindt shop in my local Westfields'.
The last slice of my small very belated birthday cake, a tiny square of fudge, liquorice, jam on toast, & a tiny piece of dark chocolate ginger, & a piece of a salt/caramel fudge, the size of my little finger nail! (I cut it up like that, so I don't eat the whole square in 1 go!)
I've just found this question again! Lucky me. Yesterday morning had a tiny piece of truffle, & 4 pieces of liquorice. For afternoon tea at home, we had 2 chocolate wafers & then last night we had vanilla ice-cream with salted caramel sauce.
I've just found this question agin, & last night we has a small slice of leftover lime pie, from the freezer, with a spoon of ice-cream.
