I have bought several things this month -not sure if the last thing was a pair of shoes, at a great price, and a good brand (not yet received), or else some "feet" for my Kenwood Chef mixmaster also not yet received. These were $30 here in Perth and just $5 from England.
I always get annoyed when it is so much more expensive here than elsewhere for exactly the same product.
I shop online for my work. Many of the things we purchase, like stationery and shop consumables, are much cheaper online. This week I bought a thousand price tags for thirty-eight dollars with free delivery. Bargain!
I read about Dogs in Thailand being VERY VERY BADLY treated, and I won't upset anyone...by telling you .
So for $25 I could buy a 'Banner' they will put up, and people will be more aware of what is happening.
It's all above board, and they email you a proper letter to Thank You.
Normally I don't have much money for us, but I thought 'what the heck'! those poor dog's....I did that last night.
Bless Your Heart!!! I am so choked up at reading this,as I adore my dogs, one of which was so badly abused, that my vet had her for over 4 months to get her well enough for me to keep her as my beloved Fur Baby!
:) they need our help because they have no voice.
Just wanted to tell everyone! I got a phone call yesterday and a law has been passed that this trade can not happen from now on.Wonderful news :)
I bought a first Edition children's book by Leslie Rees,a well known Australian author who wrote and won awards for, amazingly special books about our unique animals. The one I just found is a more unknown, yet totally delightful title of his which was published by John Sands in 1948. It is called The Mates of The Kurlalong, I paid a tiny $5 for this treasure, plus just $5 postage to have it sent from Hastings in Victoria to me up in Nth Qld!
I have seen the same book in poor condition for$40,plust post,so I am extremely pleased with my purchase!!
I bought my father a gift pack of tea for his birthday last night and I'm doing the grocery shopping as I skim here.
I am just about to purchase a power supply thing for my television. My son reefed the one we had out of the wall, so I am without television for the rest of the week.

The last thing I bought was a set of e-books, The Emperor's Edge Collection by Lindsay Buroker. It's the first three books in the series, and I've been meaning to read these books for ages.
I used to buy online nearly every weekend - I got into a bit of a bad habit. It's been ages now since I have purchased something online - I have cured my bad habit!

It was a hair product from Davroe. I never received it, and that's why I'm scared to order online and have been trying to go through retail businesses instead since then. Davroe use a private courier company - StarTracks -that expected me to be home, unarranged. They may have left a note, but I was forced into homelessness at that point due to family difficulties, and found the note apparently 2 weeks after they had made the first attempt to deliver. They made 2 attempts, each time without notifying me of delivery times, or contacting me to ensure I would be home. I called the delivery company StarTracks as soon as I found the notice. I arranged with them to pick the product up from the depot, and the arrangement was clear - it would be Friday. When I rang Friday morning to confirm that I was heading to the depot to pick up the product, StarTracks informed me that they had just sent the product back to Davroe in Sydney. I rang Davroe and they were angry with me! Angry that I wasn't there (without arrangement) to meet the delivery, and that it had taken 2 weeks to get back to them. Regarding the mistake StarTracks made, they would not rectify the problem or take responsibility. Davroe even argued that I should have paid for the delivery costs back to Sydney, and if I would like the product, I needed to pay for the delivery costs back to Sydney, and then again for it's delivery to Melbourne!
I have bought some calendars from two different online shops and still waiting for one lot to be delivered, they are hard to get ones so have found in the passed must shop online for these! Otherwise very little else...
The last thing I bought online was some chrome wire shelves. this was my worst experience of purchasing online. THey took 2 weeks to be delivered to an address at the end of the street, and another week to be delivered to my home. I would have done better to purchase this product through ebay rather than from an unknown e-retailer. This is the only time I've had any difficulties with online purchases.

Just yesterday I bought a book of Christina Rossetti's poems from Book Depository in the UK. I have bought from them for some time now - great value site, very competitive prices and postage free to anywhere in the world (I am in Queensland, Australia)!
An iphone charger that was 3m. Very useful.
