I didnt break it - my dishwasher did which is the first time it has broken anything.
It was one of my good set of four double walled coffee mugs and before that I broke one of my set of four double walled coffee mugs as it fell in the sink and broke.
Moral is, do not buy this Italian brand again as I have many coffee mugs (made of glass) that I have had for years, and I rarely break anything....
So in answer to the question, coffee glasses.
Glasses seem to break easily when i am washing them. Probably the heat of the water makes them unstable, and before you know it, i have a broken glass. I will have to get some new good quality ones. We are always looking for clean glasses at our place. A rarity to find one.
Ha ha ha ha!!!! I have not actually been in the kitchen when I have broken things recently, but in my TV room which has a very hard tiled floor!! For many years I had not broken a single thing, yet over the past3 or 4 weeks I have dropped and broken 4 bowls and 3 favourite fine china mugs!! My carpal tunnel problems in both hands have been getting so much worse again( I had surgery which gave me 20 years respite!!!) just recently as well as the 'grip' of my right hand which is now almost non-existent, so I have now replaced my very good pieces with cheap but lovely items from Lifeline!! In the actual kitchen though, I have broken the skin on my toe, when I dropped a knife yesterday!!! Nothing serious, just messy!!
Back towards the end of April, a single small black coffee mug, then a white 1 coffee mug which was from a set of 4, then a glass from a set of 4 that had a logo on it, for the life of the Ghan. My husband always uses these wine glasses for his red wine every evening. No, I didn't tell him I'd broken it, so I hope he never notices. All these 3 items I broke in the same week. Ops.
Oh and about two years ago the shelf with all our mugs and glasses on it crashed to the ground. I think maybe I dislodged one of the pins holding it in place while cleaning without realising it. Broken bits everywhere. Oh well.
