What kind of windows do you have and what kind do you prefer?

In my family home it was push out windows, both rectangular, one of which was high & narrow, as house was built in 1911.

My next home, which was built to my design, had ALL sliding, which I love.
And current home, again, all sliding.

Doubt I'd have anything else if ever built again. Sliding are just SO easy to operate!

I have ordinary sq framed aluminium.Common type you see everywhere!

I don't know the names of most windows. We have a mixture in our house, but most are long horizontal windows that you push outwards to open.

I have lovely big windows that look out on a great big grassy hill. I can see lots of bush and some cows. I love my windows :D

In the kitchen we have a dodgy louvre window .... it needs to go.

Aluminium sliders. Not pretty but functional for me.
