The writers home office

To be a productive freelance writer, you need a well organised workspace. You might burn a candle. You might also have a notebook and pen nearby to write down your ideas as they arise. What items do you have in your writing workspace?

I always have my iPad and some artworks my son has done are framed on my desk. Love to look at these drawings to help inspire me. I like having some of my favourite quotes up on the walls too.
My laptop, a coaster for my tea/coffee, a family photo, a photo of my partner, a bottle of water, and sticky notes with a pen.
On my desk I usually have: my laptop, 2 drinks, recipe folder, hair brush, magnetic hematite stones, and vitamins. Within arms reach I have a pencil case, several notebooks, and whatever book I'm reading at the time.
My laptop.
My iPhone.
A water bottle, as well as a jug and glass for more water infused with lemon.
Food/snacks.
Stationery.
Laptop and Internet modem.
Notebooks x 3 and pens.
A couple of affirmation cards
Candle burning
Crystals
A writing award (certificate) displayed
Surrounded by artworks and media lanyards

That is my home office. The office at the mainstream media clients site has similar on my desk - plus add design specs and CD roms to that list!
And some hand cream/sanitiser, and some tissues.
I have my computer
Pens and pencils and my printer.
Trays of different coloured pens as I paint.
Paper to write on and take notes.
Oh ! my headphones, to listen to YouTube.
I have a notebook and pen with me, my phone, laptop and a really good light.
Oh, and generally a cup of freshly made tea to sip on while I write.
Unfortantely my writing workspace is currently my kitchen table, so it houses my laptop, a vase of flowers, the tray from my son's high chair, coasters, a toy monkye, and some unopened mail. Ideally I would eventually like to have an office again, with a desk devoted to writing. My old office had a desk (with Milky Way bars in one drawer as bribes when I finished a chapter), bookshelves and a few inspiring pictures on the wall. For now I have to be where I can keep an eye on the kids.
Oops. Please excuse the typos. I had a small child climbing onto my lap.
