What is your favourite type of weekend escape?

I love going Bush, and just listening to the birds and see the wildlife.

If I could I think I would leave the city.
I'm really over it now.....I need to see green grass, and peace and quite would be great!

Ideally in a remote, far off location within Australia where no one can contact you. For example, Cape Tribulation. You'd need a long weekend for it though.

I like all different ones - Melbourne for a big city eating, art & footy expedition, Bundanoon for bushwalks, this weekend off to Broken Bay for sport & rec. Last year I had a weekend (literally Friday - Monday, 2 nights) in Singapore for the GP - that was an awesome weekend!

Cruising or visiting a daughter, her partner, & 2 grand-daughters from another daughter. in Melbourne for 7-10 days at a time. That's it. If we had a new slightly bigger car we may start taking road trips!
