Now that winter has arrived many of us enjoy warming up with delicious hot drinks. While caffeinated drinks such as coffee and tea have always been popular, non-caffeinated beverages are also gathering an increasing following.
Do you enjoy decaffeinated hot drinks, and which ones are your favourites? Can you recommend some brands.

Lemon Tea
The brand of Hot Choc I use is :
Jarrah - frothy classic.
Devine in a word :)
I got Jarrah Extreme Choc . . . . and added double cream. . . . . wicked ;-)
I love hot chocolate, but don't have it too often. If it's late at night I'll have herbal tea, like lemon balm or chamomile. Pukka Teas are nice, but the lemon balm I mostly make from fresh leaves from my garden.
I go with good old hot milk, sometimes with a little honey, or I have peppermint or ginger tea if I want a "lighter" end to the night.
Hot chocolate or de- caf tea. I use Jarrah hot chocolate at home, but if I am out with a friend, I just use whatever they use at the coffee shop. Love my hot chocolate as I dislike coffee. You can get de - caf black tea so don't have to have herbal teas to get de-caf. My friend from America sent me a tea bag with ' extra caffeine '. It was very strong. They market it that way and say it gives you extra energy .
Hot Cocoa, on F M, done in 'proper' little saucepan, with spout, on stove-top.
Bliss!
I remember my late Mother making it same way for me, as a child.
That would have to be hot chocolate though chocolate has caffeine -I do not drink decaffinated coffees...
I love herbal teas such as fresh mint, ginger and camomile. Another favourite is a home-made hot drink called coriander coffee which is absolutely delicious. You take a handful of coriander seeds and dry-roast them, before grinding them up finely. Add these to hot milk, and simmer the mixture over a low heat. Add some sweetener....and enjoy!.
I buy Homebrand Cocoa. It works for me.
First, that chai in in the picture looks so good right now ! That's the first thing my husband makes every morning. I haven't had this for months now. I love herbal teas and thick hot chocolate ! Delicious :)
I love hot drinks. I use herbal tea bags- chamomile , lemon and ginger, or fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon. I love hot chocolate but give it a miss due to my ever expanding waist.
I make several cups of tea each morning and sometimes find I get jittery from the caffeine. I decided to make a cupper without a teabag- hot water and a little milk. Sounds and looks uninteresting but I quite like it. Sometimes I drink plain hot water because I find I don't have enough water in winter and the cold water hurts my teeth.
I do not drink decaffeinated drinks as they have had chemicals put in them, however I like hot chocolate and have it iced or hot every Sunday with my cooked breakfast.
