The Castle is my favourite. No matter how many times I watch, it is still funny.

Darryl Kerrigan's 'Tell them they're dreaming' response to the Trading post prices has become part of everyday speech.

There is something about this movie that is inherently Austraian.
Chopper.

It is so well done, and really is very close acting
to chopper himself.
I don't know any Australian movies.
Really!

ABBA: The Movie
The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
Age of Consent
Australia
The Castle
Crocodile Dundee
Crocodile Dundee II
Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles
The Dish
Evil Angels
Finding Nemo
Gallipoli
The Getting of Wisdom
Mad Max series
The Man from Snowy River
Rabbit-Proof Fence
Red Dog
Shine
Strictly Ballroom
Wolf Creek

These you may like, the other 80% I'm not sure, but see if you like any.
The Castle is a great one to start with :)

Thanks for the great list. Out of those I have only seen Finding Memo and bit of Crocodile Dundee. I like Nemo but since it is Pixar, I thought it was an American film.
The Castle, Strictly Ballroom, Storm Boy (just so beautiful, still shown sometimes on NITV) The Tracker, Lantana and The Shiralee. Not recent, but movies I can watch more than once, or twice

Got to be 'The Man from Snowy River' 1 & 2.
Everything about them was exceptional. Love the soundtracks.
Adored the horses!
AND I've met & spoken with at length, Tom Burlinson, in his now singing career.

I did really enjoy both 'My Brilliant Career' & 'Gallipoli', though.
P.S.
I think also honourable mention must go to 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'......trivia bit.....first film John Jarratt, now of 'Wolf Creek' fame, appeared in!
