Vietnamese beef cold rolls - easy to make, healthy to munch on, and absolutely delicious and filling! Yum yum, my mouth is watering now :P
I Like most Asian foods but perhaps Thai is my favourite though am about to go out on a "voucher" for Peking duck which i just love.

I believe there is a lot of salt used in most of this type of cooking and as I do not use much salt in cooking, I do not eat out a lot any more, however do like the Thai food.

Good ol'...'Coconut Green Curry'....just love it, have eaten it out and also cooked it myself..

I love going out to a restaurant, if I cook it at home it never tastes the same. Perhaps it is being involved in the creation of the meal there is no mystery.
Thai vegetarian dishes I adore them.
I agree with you Shelley -about tasting different when someone else cooks.

Have a look at RecipeYum for some great ideas to try at home.
I like Thai food, especially the red curry and Pad thai

I love crispy Peking duck and regularly cook this when we've got guests coming around.
I love all kinds of Asian food, especially Thai curries. I cook most at home but do enjoy the occasional meal at a Chinese restaurant.
I love Thai food! We go out to have Tomyum as I've yet to master it, but we'll cook Pad Thai, Pad Ka Prao and the curries at home.
A simple mixed veg fried rice most times accompanied by semi-gravy vegetable ball in ginger-garlic sauce (Manchurian). At times I favor the Hakka Noodles when I feel spicy would be good.
I like Thai papaya salad and crab curry.
Thai green curry. I make it myself but not so often as I like it hot and have to cook two meals when I make it (one for adults and one for children) so i order it most often when I go to a Thai restaurant.
Chicken fried rice and chicken manchurian.Just love it.
Takeaway honey chicken with fried rice. Doing a home exchange in Taiwan in November. Bet I can't get that there!

A great yum cha is my favorite Asian meal - so much to choose from and many different tastes in one sitting.

Anything with too much spice is a definite no-go. So I love sushi and japanese food mostly. I also like honey chicken, sweet and sour pork and fried rice. They're all delicious!
Having lived in Asia for 14 years my favourite is sour soup. Chicken or seafood in a clear broth with lemon grass, ginger, chilli, some rice and lots and lots of lemon. So refreshing and filling.
love beef with oyster sauce, love prawns with black been sauce.
love Singapore noodles
love Singapore noodles usually, but don't like people cooking them for me "at home" as it nearly always ends up that they put their own "take" on the recipe. Although it's a pretty relaxed recipe, singapore noodles are "dry" cooked with very little or no sauce. But people here in Aus can't help themselves.

yes, many Australians have a throw back cooking style which is to boil the living daylights out of what ever it is they plan to eat. Its changing but skills in cooking rice and noodles would help. Authentic asian food is delicious, quick to cook and very healthy. smoothered in sauce and cooked for too long and you end up with something quite difference.

Peking Duck.
Chicken Chow Mien.
Crumbed Prawn Cutlets
Mushroom long soup(if can get it!)
Fried Rice.
P.S. Have now gotten onto Beef in Black Bean Sauce, & love that, too!

Not keen on Chinese food as I find it too greasy. Can't stand fried rice. I do like a nice curry with steamed rice occasionally though.
Dumplings or salt & pepper seafood. I never order fried rice when I'm out, but I would make it at home, if I needed too.
