What is your dream bed?

Beds are where dreams are thought and imagined. So what would be your dream bed? Is it located somewhere special? Is there a brand in particular? Is it perhaps a water bed?

I have recently tested a Tempura bed in a bedding store. I've never seen anything so comfortable. The only problem a queen size bed costs around $10,000.
I would love a beautiful four post bed with intricate carvings.
Yes, sounds lovely - with gauzy curtains that would enclose it...
I have always wanted one like in this pic, a little ''cubby bed''.....so when I'm feeling yucky, I can go hide. One day! I'm going to have one.!
A water bed for summer and one filled with down in winter. It should be something antique, like in the movies. I'd love the bed to be near the window, so I can open the window and breathe in some fresh air in the morning.
I love the bed I have now. It's a double with a firm mattress. Many times my mum has tried to change it by adding a Tempera mattress, but I heaved it straight off again in defiance. If I were to change anything about the bed I have now, it would be for there to be storage draws underneath.
I love a king sized sleigh bed made out of wood with a really good mattress on top. Luckily for me, I've got one!
Sounds fabulous. I love my bed that I have had all through my teen years which is a posturepedic king single (longer than a single but not as wide as a double).
A large, comfortable king sized one :)
Never thought about it - I was curious to see what people said for this. I guess I don't have a dream bed, but I like it hard - I hate soft beds...
I recently purchased a Slumberking gel bed. Since then I've had hip pain and this bed is wonderful in enabling cushioning to affected areas and provide a good night's sleep zzzzz
My dream bed was one I designed and had crafted many years ago. It was a four poster bed, which was intricately carved and with lace curtains pulled back with burgundy tassels. It was set up high on long posts, and so I had matching steps made so that I could get up onto the bed. The great thing was all the space that I had under the bed to store things. Sadly, I had to sell my bed before I moved to Melbourne as it would have cost a fortune to have it sent over.
My own bed as it is, is my haven.
Love it.
So cosy comfy.
Always wondered about a water bed?
I just love sleeping on my couch with my cat with the television on in the background. Crazy....
I've never really dreamt of a dream bed, for me it's important to have the right mattress and pillow.
I love my bed now but if we're talking dream bed- I would like to go to sleep with the sound of gentle surf and the smell of fresh sea air. I would like to awaken to the sound of birds and beautiful views with green leaves. Every night my bed would smell of clean sheets dried in the sun. My dream bed would have pretty white bedding with a touch of antique lace and luxurious pillows.
The one I'm currently in - a futon. I can't see myself ever sleeping in another type of bed. Best sleep EVER.
