I am not sure if it is a skill but chopping wood with a wood splitter. It is quite liberating.

Oh dear lord....''SPREAD-SHEETS''.
My Son is starting his own business, from home...and we had to get yesterday an even more 'complex-one' .
I wish I could go back to bed, stay there till it's all done.

But, we are in this together....and I just have to learn what I can.

We have a huge t.v. so it all go's on screen from his lap top, and wow! complex-complex-complex.
I hate the danged things too. Bane of my life when I was at work. One click and it's *gone*. Make sure you are save, save, saving the work every few minutes. :-))

Does basket weaving count?

If so perhaps 6 months ago lol
I am constantly working on my skills as an artist. Only 5 years since I have been able to practice art and my skills are improving all the time.
I am getting into website design. It has been going good so far. Learning seo also. Its been going well so far. I'm learning on to monetize content and such. Its pretty interesting. I'm also getting into graphic design at a greater level. I had some basic knowledge but putting it into practice is another thing.
Nice. Good for you :-)

Well this may not be a skill, but I've learned to belly dance and I am still having lessons, and more so I'm really enjoying it, it's a female only club as well.
I've just learned how to make an easy but striking picture using masking tape.

First you put masking tape in any pattern you like on a blank canvas. And then choose your colours to cover the whole canvas. When it's dry and you remove the tape - voila!

Nice! I've done that with my kids- we made the shape of a tree with the tape and painted the foliage in watercolours.
I did it with kids too but enjoyed it at least as much as they did!
Is speaking another language considered a skill? I've tried to learn another language as I feel it might be useful when I travel overseas or run into a foreigner. Next would be lock-picking, just for fun though. Anyone here tried this before?
Interesting choice. I once successfully picked a lock with a hairpin when I'd accidentally locked myself out on the balcony. I had no idea what I was doing so I was very surprised that it worked. I'm sure it's normally more difficult.
Learning to play Mahjong which I love

Meditate! I was never good at 'clearing my mind; etc but in retraining as a mindfulness-inspired antenatal teacher I have finally found the ability to mediate and relax.
And this year how to cook!
I finally found where the text option is on my phone earlier this year after having the phone for 4 years. Definitely a skill⭐
