home kitchen

Our kitchen when growing up was lime green (apparently to make us feel happy and hungry), nowadays they tend to be decorated in neutral colours although many are designed to suit the style of the house or the personality of the owners. What is the colour of your kitchen and why?

Bright red with black trims everywhere just cos we like to buck conventions and because this is our house we can do what we please with it : ) No pale colours for us!
The bench is sort of a jade green and the walls are white. That's the colour it was when we moved in. Eventually I'd like to replace the bench because it stains too easily.
You can buy a product that coats the benches, instead of replacing them. I did this with my kitchen and it worked well.
Our kitchen is white, and that's the colour it was when we bought our place. Very standard stuff really!
My kitchen cupboards were yellow with beige counters when I moved in. I have since painted the walls white and replaced some cupboards and also painted them white. My counter tops are now black. I wanted a more modernized kitchen, in case we decide to sell.
My Bench tops are the very first top left colour.
My Cupboards are the second top colour.(middle)
Because I don't have the money to change them, lol.
They are how I bought the place.
One day...they will be gone......I hope :)
Bland and boring white!! We rent and that's how it is.
An awful brown colour. It's the last room still to be renovated in my house. I'd like something simple and neutral with a big flash if colour on one wall.
I wanted a sort of beachy colour scheme, so we've got pale bamboo floors, blue cupboards and black marble bench tops. The walls are a sort of warm beige shade. It doesn't sound too great in writing, but I think it's worked quite well.
The walls are a creamy yellow colour (not too bright) and the trims and bench tops are blue. The appliances and cupboards are white. This is the colour scheme that was here when I moved in. The rest of the house has the same colour scheme and I like it even though i didn't choose it.
Our cupboards and benchtops are timber coloured. Why? Because we Luke natural earthy colours. We have pale coloured walls as the builder told us that this makes a room look bigger. We have a lot of wood furnishings throughout the house so a wooden looking kitchen blends in with the rest of the house. We recently renovated a few years back.
My kitchen and family room were beige when I had the house built with beige splashback tiles interspersed with an occasional mauve floral spray tile. The walls are now painted pale green and my accessories (like toaster and kettle) are purple as is most of my cooking tools.
