Pointy toed shoes.

I think they look like witches shoes and I get a lot in the Op shop where I work.

They are hideous and they hurt my feet also...hope they never come back.
by Finy
They do hurt- ouch!
I am one who wore pointy toes shoes when they were in fashion and never had any problems with them, I always bought good branded shoes, more expensive but worth the cost in comfit

Oh! Ladies', I've two pairs' of 'winkle picker' boots!
One Red pair, one Grey pair.
Luv 'em, especially in Winter, as they suede, & look great with slacks!
They're top brand, & very comfy!

by donjo
Foot binding. That is a truly obscene fashion.
shoulder pads...gross
by Fran
Multi-layers' of clothes for women, & corsets.

Safari Suits for men.
Ick. A vote and a high five for you!
by Rice
Yay, Rice, hi5!

The shirt dress in the 60's....yuck!
oh, I like those Jonaj -what about mu mus -they are also nice!
by Finy
nice for thin girls like you! lol.
I have some extra and they look awful.
by jonaja
Muumuu?! Hahaha.
by Vee
Muumuus for relaxing at home, definitely . . . . but I would look like a moo cow.

It doesn't phase me, I wear what I like and I think all fashion does a full circle. No doubt the fashions worn today will come back into style in 20 years time. My kids are right into fluro colours which was all the rage when I was a teen 20 years ago!
I remember having a pair of bright lemon skin tight, stretch pants and that was 40 years ago!
by Finy
I'm with Finy - pointy toed shoes! They kill my feet!
striped pants.
The perm
by AJ
Oh! AJ, I sure can relate to that!
My Mother owned a Ladies' Hairdressing Salon.
I couldn't walk through the door if there was a Perm. being done! The SMELL of the chemical solution made me very ill!

Bell bottomed trousers on both sexes. Don't care if you are 6 ft tall, skinny as a rake, fat as butter - no matter what shape or age you are -they just don not flatter any figure or shape.
and
booties - they all remind me of puss in boots or Cat Whittington and his......boots
I'm not too keen on fluro anything. And I don't like the current pants hanging off your bottom style. well you can't really call it style!
Pointed Toe Shoes!
Hot Pants
have you been past a primary school or any school for that matter they are everywhere but they are called active wear now.

Platform shoes, bellbottom trousers - the 70s were the pits as far as fashion was concerned. Wouldn't like to see hoop petticoats come back (we wore them in the 60s to make our dresses fuller. However there was a problem when you sat down, as they tended to fly up in the air, with the result you showed what you had for breakfast! I kind of agree with what people are saying about stilletto shoes, but I have to say I loved them and wore them all the time in my teens and twenties - I know, I know, they killed your feet, but isn't that what fashion is all about. We live and learn!
Men's body shirts (70s) . . .oh, they were truly awful on most bodies.
by Rice
Yep men's body shirts teamed with flared trousers = yuk. Throw in a safari suit and it becomes unimaginable that anyone could have thought up/designed that "look".
by fran.
Oh lord, fran, you are so right!! I forgot that they were teamed with flared pants. . . usually on men with perms. It just gets worse. LOL
by Rice
Chambray Blouses. Chambray dresses.
What's with the collar being turned up on that type of material?
So stupid looking, as if an Arctic blast is expected to come through the door!

Woman at work wears above, & it looks soooooo '70's! To make it look worse, she has a short, dumpy build!

Disliked by me to the nth degree!

Clothes. Any.
I love most of the clothing of the past, the only thing that I would not like is having my chest bound down so it fits nicely into a dress, and the same with cinching your stomach in. The corset can be gone forever.
