When you find that answer let me know. I think LOVE is a emotion you feel which warps your view of reality. It distracts you and often mistakes are made because of it. So in all, it can't be too good can it?

What: Try me! I could never explain LOVE! Especially since it's a very dynamic idea or a deep emotion. It is deep and shallow at the same time, too difficult yet too easy to perceive. It just happens.. whereas other feelings I've perceived required a reason.

DO Anything: If you're the loved one, may be you may not do anything but if you're in love (living/non-living) it is quite easy to convince yourselves to do just about anything under the sun for your love, even if it appears impractical to others.

Eternal: Depends on your quantification of "Eternal". For some eternal is until lovers and/or loved ones are alive, for some others eternal is through the many lives (purportedly) one takes until one reaches Nirvana.

Now that I'm totally involved (& intoxicated) - let us discuss Afterlife & Nirvana!!

Love is when you care about someone deeply. I think true love should be eternal, but sometimes if someone betrays you so badly it can be so painful that it impossible to forgive. I don't think it is okay to do 'anything' for love because I think that does the other person a disservice. For example, murdering someone for love is not only wrong, but putting a burden on the person you murdered for, because they will have to live with the guilt also.

Love is universal, and therefore should not be denied to same sex couples in my opinion.

No it would be silly to do anything for love. In France they have laws for things like this - crimes regarding "matters of the heart".

It is important that we consider love to be eternal, however in reality it cannot because we cannot be eternal.

An emotion, a feeling of fondness for another person. If you mean is it ok to do crazy things for love, no, I don't think so, normal ethics should apply to any situation, there isn't a special category of ethics which makes it ok to do something you normally wouldn't just because you're in love.

People say I love you every single day to one and other whether they truly mean it or not.
I feel like I have never known what love is until I found my current partner...
I felt safe, loved and cared for.
Then I had my first baby and realised I had no idea what love was and I have never felt so much love for anyone in my life.
It seems silly, because I love my partner to the moon and back and what we have is very special and I wouldn't give that up for the world.
But the unconditional love you have for your children seems so much deeper.
