Knob of garlic

I'm yet to read that sticking a clove of garlic in the little toe of your toe socks will cure bunions, but there is still plenty of time. Even though a hint sounds ridiculous, have you tried it out? Did it work?

Putting an onion next to the bed when someone is sick with the flu. The website said it sucked up all the disease from the onion. Sounded weird, but I was sick enough at the time to try anything, and for me it worked! Just remember to chuck the onion out because now it'll be sick instead of you.
Too funny!
Potato juice for heartburn in pregnancy. It sounds really gross. I ignored it until I came across it in Susun Weed's Wise Woman Herbal for the Childbearing Year. So I managed to get some juice, tried it and what would you know? It worked!
Mmm not on the internet but my dear departed Nan swore by sleeping with a cork in the bed to cure night time cramps.
Must try that Shelley. Experiencing foot cramps at the moment. Traditionalist scientific husband says I need more salt. I believe champagne corrks would be the best remedy.
I didn't read this on the internet, but, in our family, we soak socks in diluted vinegar and wear them to bed in order to bring down a temperature. It works.

I had a fungal infection on my foot that was taking for ever to clear up with antibiotics and fungal cream. Desperate one night after being woken by intense itching I googled fungal, infection and found a recommendation to rub Vicks into the infected area. I did that very night and it really worked. I couldn't believe it the itching just stopped. I read some more and the next morning bathed my foot in hot water with tea tree oil, dried it and wiped tea tree oil again over the
infection. I did this for a couple if days and hey presto infection all cleared up :)
