One of the wonders of spring is the re-emergence of bulbs. Hidden all winter they are the new season's surprise package.
Daffodils, freesias, hyacinths and buebells to name a few - what are your favourites?

My favourites are daffodils, grape hyacinth, blue bells and snow drops.
My grandmother used to grow these. I have planted them all in my own garden as they remind me so fondly of her.
Hyacinths...... as a child I was always around them.
They smell divine.I have promised myself one this year, and I will get it.No more excuse.
I love them all but freesias have a special place in my heart. Here in Perth (Australia) they grow everywhere during the late winter and early spring, and when they appear it's a sign from nature that the cold weather is finally over. I can always smell their sweet aroma before I actually see them!
I love stargazer lilies. I wore one in my hair for my wedding 12 years ago. Ah, memories.
I love bulbs but tend to go for the less common bulbs like veltheimia, haemanthus, amorphophallus,Brunsvigia and Boophone http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Boophone_disticha.jpg#/media/File:Boophone_disticha.jpg
