Should husband and wife have the same education level?

I think a husband and wife should both have the same opportunity to reach the same level of education; however, I don't think it matters if they do not. Level of education should be a personal thing, individual to you, and not determined by your marital status.

On the other hand, when looking for a partner, some people might be attracted to those who have a similar level of education to them, or at least studied in similar areas, because it can increase shared interests.

It would only matter if it bothers one or both of the couple. Otherwise, I don't see why they have to be absolutely equal in everything.

I don't think it matters either way, some of the smartest people haven't had a formal education and some have.

Both spouses should be work towards achieving high professional education levels, i.e. something post-graduate. They should be able to discuss matters pertaining to profession, government (legislation and policy), indurstrial/ technological developments, civil society, and spirituality/ culture; the more society changes, the more spouses need to be informed and prepared for the worst.
