Is your vacuum cleaner bagless?

I actually have one of each vacuum cleaner.

The bagless one is broken and I think because the dust gets everywhere whereas the one with the bag has the dust contained to the bag only.

I therefore think I would prefer the old fashion bag in a vacuum cleaner.

I bought a Bagless one, and had no end of problems :(

I then bought a V/C with Bags, and have never looked back.

It is dead easy to place the bag in, no having to empty all that dust...in a bag! at the end it is full.
Bagless to me: A total waste of time, and unhealthy having to empty, with no real dust free way!

I love to pop a bag in, and a couple of weeks later take it out, no mesS OR DUST TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH....WINNING! :)

Yes, I have a Dyson. I'm not sure I like the bagless aspect since it goes everywhere when you empty it but it is a very powerful vaccuum. I don't use it much any more because now we have a lino floor and it can lift the lino.

Yup. Bagless Dyson. When it was brand new it nearly sucked the carpets off the floor. LOL. It's good for the dog hair though.

No, I have one with bag. Those are brown paper bags. I prefer one with bags since it is easy to clean and dust does not fly everywhere. I am allergic to dust and can't afford dust flying around.

I really dislike the bagless hoovers so have always had one with a bag but my husband prefers his Dyson to my Miele, so we have one of both. I leave it up to the cleaner which one she uses and nearly all of them have preferred the Miele - it has a stronger suction and it's easier to empty and carry around, what's not to like?!
I have no idea why Dyson hoovers are so popular.... his hand dryers on the other hand are wonderful :)

Verity -I need one and am chosing either Miele or Dyson -or Karcher -dont know how to choose -Dyson is bagless, isnt it?
And it says you just click to empty but then you would still get dust flying around, wouldnt you?

Yes my Miele has a bag and I love it. Miele is one of the best makes of household goods as well, they last forever.
The Dyson is bagless, you just click a button and the bottom drops down, so if you don't aim it exactly into a bag, you get dust and dirt everywhere! And I've found that because of static, it's impossible to get the cylinder where the dust is collected clean, so instead of looking shiny it ends up dull and grey and horrid.

I have always preferred ones with bags as I have bad allergies and empting the bagless ones is a recipe for absolute disaster!! There is nothing easier for me than simply replacing a bag when it is full.

We have a bagless vacuum cleaner, and although dust flies everywhere when I empty it, I think it's more environmentally friendly.

yes a wertheim , I would not go back to a bag,
I always empty it after using no problem.

storage is a problem as it is not an upright, so next time I buy it will be an upright cleaner.

I have a bagless vacuum cleaner. A long time ago I had one that used disposable bags.

I much prefer the bagless. It is more Earth friendly and truly less disgusting to me. I used to hate it when I went to change the bag and I would get a puff a dust in my face no matter how careful I tried to be. I don't have that problem with the bagless.

I have a cleaner with a bag, and it is much cleaner to empty the bag completely onto the bin.
I was a cleaner for 25 years and always used Nilfisk because of the triple filter system in their machines, Meile are also excellent.
No way would I use a bagless cleaner.

But, but, but, Phil . . . . my Dyson has two HEPA filters. *quivering bottom lip* I just make sure I empty it outside (in the wheelie bin) and stand clear. ^_^

Yes I am on my second Rainbow Vacuum in 40 years I got a new one 10 years ago. it works with water... Would never have another.........
