Yes, I always insulate houses due to our extreme heat.

I have 'pink batts" or similar, and even had a new insulated garage door installed last year.

Have also once had the ones in between the double brick.

I think the house stays warmer at night however with insulation but is often very pleasant on a hot day.

Definitely!! When I first got this house in tropical Nth Qld, I put in Air-conditioning and Insulation! The roof has the highest grade Gold Batts, and the walls are also done, though with very, dense(in fact, extremely so,purpose made styrene foam which was part of the deal when I had the place vinyl clad!! The house was instantly cooler in the warm months and much warmer in the cool ones,PLUS when I use the air con it is so much more effective as the cool air stays inside the house! This also means that I do not need to use it so much, and also my power bill is cheaper because of the insulation! Great Investment!!
Mine just has that thick silvery foil lining the roof cavity. I have no idea if it is in the walls - the house is brick.

We have 'sheeting' because of our house being a Mobile home, it works ok...But I would love to have more, I must confess.
Our weather is Bi-Polar to me, one day 32 degrees, next 20 degrees ?

Insulation is a total must for any home, and the better the product, the more energy you save, the more money in the long run.
Yes. We have the house insulated with the yellow batts, as per the photo. I think that it is a great help in keeping the house warm/cool, but I still wouldn't be without my heating / cooling!!!
I don't think the house we are currently living in is insulated. :|
