If your house was on fire, and you were able to get only three things out, (not including people/animals) which three would they be?

If my house was on fire I would be more concerned about getting everyone out safe. Material things aren't high on my list when there is an emergency
I have scanned and stored all our vital documents, videos and photographs online and there are other small assets and essential documents which we keep in a small case, similar to a carry-on baggage.
In case of a fire accident at home, this carry-on case, my laptop and iPad are the things that we will make as much effort to get these things out.
My data storage device, my certificates and gifts from my hubby.
Laptop, important medication, (Champers my cat but he would be outside as not stupid!) and business file (my handbag containing car keys etc would be over my shoulder as always so not counting that!!!

Although my pets are outside, if they were in danger, then I would get them to safety. Otherwise it would the toy rabbit I've had since I was a baby, my laptop, and my late grandmother's wedding ring.
Me , myself and I.
Life is too precious , all else can be replaced.

We have a small overnight bag, that has all family papers ext.Photos, the lot.
Then my son would grab his laptop.
My car keys, and get the car out of the way.Our car is vital to us.

My handbag, my phone and teddy bear! I have lived in apartment blocks for a long time and there are invariably fire alarms set off and those are the three things that I always take before leaving the building.

If I was thinking practically - coat, phone and wallet.
Family, Phone, computer

Family first, Phone second, computer third
my laptop, because it contains so much of my life, work and photo memories; my one and only 1,000 recipes cook book; and my wallet which contains my passport and all IDs because if my house was burning down I would completely loose it if I had to then be cashless and having to negotiate new cards and passport with any bank or authority.
A watercolour done by my great grandfather & his 100 year old A2 size certificate for service as a volunteer fire fighter (irony?!). They can never be replaced and are important to me. I used to think I'd grab my laptop but all my important stuff is in 'the cloud' now so possibly not. Maybe some form of ID but even that's replacable.
My wallet, jellery and my teddies
My Dogs,of course(there are 3 of them, but we shall count this as ONE!!!)My laptop,as it contains my 1000's of photos and other precious info!,and my purse with all the ID crap in it!!! Why does it have to be only THREE?!! Hang on!! Hold It!!!! My purse is in the laptop bag,so I have another choice! My collection of antique books and jewellery!!! Gosh I am a good cheat at stretching a number,eh?!!!!!!
Since you said not including people and animal - I would probably go for that box of treasures(containing everything from the first lock of hair of my kids, phots, papers to the JP seal of my late grandfather), My handbag ( which has medications, car keys and wallet)...my escape probably would be to drive through the closed garage door simply because I wouldn't want my car to burn! (insured I know but still...)
My Dog! He would be number one on my list.
My purse and some fresh undies before I sprinted out the door squealing.
people,animals not included Selina!!

Oh no... I was too literal.
Right, My lipgloss is number 1, My Harry Potter Books are number 2 and my Journal is number 3.
I've a drawer of legal papers (will etc) IPad some beautiful ornaments my Mother
left me Oh so hard to think of lifetime of treasures that mean so much. And I live
in 2 story unit how do you get the things out quickly!!!!
Fazee -ahh, it will not happen! Just a theoretical question -well I guess it DOES happen to some -would be heartbreaking -not for the money -though that could also be if you are not insured!

You need a padded bugout bag and you would throw it out the window.

My computer and my two cats.
If my house was on fire. i would like to grab my document case,my hand bag and my kids favorite toys which are always be in a handy carry box.... :)
Family photos, Antique silver, children's art work
Since my cat is covered, I would grab my bug-out bag (not yet a reality - so if not I would grab bottles of drinking water - as much as I could carry), my personal bag (knapsack used as a purse) and as many library books as I could grab.

First would be any documents passports birth certificates, wallet. Perhaps computer as it stores a lot of valuable information

My animals, photo albums, but make sure my family is safely out first.
