Some days we feel 10 years older than what we are. Other days we feel younger. If you did not know your age, how old would you be?

Instead of 60!
I think I would be about 22. That is how old I feel! ;)
11 because all the fun stuff is for under 12 only.
I would probably be 18. I would be just out of the house, and young enough to enjoy the fun things.
I'd be 22!!! :)
Me I'd be about 16 years of age right now!
When I turned 40 I started counting backwards, so now I'm 33 and no one has ever questioned it. I like being 33.
I would not be approaching pension age.
The government is planning to push the eligibility for age pension up to 70.
I am sure that you are aware that is not possible for people in their 50 s to find employment let alone at 70 years of age.
The government has ignored age discrimination in the work force. They then sat idle while financial advisers failed to protect the super funds that were made compulsory under law. Now that the funds have been lost and the employment opportunities not possible the coalition intends to remove the last life line for these victims of mismanagement by the Australian government.
It was recently published that Adelaide has the highest death rate from hypothermia in the world because aged people are not able to turn on their heaters because they cannot afford the power bills that had increased 8 times while the pension remained unchanged.
When is someone going to motivate these people to take action to defend themselves from this uncaring and brutal government?
Luxury car sales are up probably because the financial advisers have all the funds from the failed super investments yet the aged population shiver in the cold. It is time to act now before you find yourself out in the cold as you age.
This will impact on all Australians even the young as your parents will need to sell the family home to eat leaving you with no inheritance and removing the corner stone of our community.
I urge the young to stand up and fight this now because you will be impacted by this action into your future. The aged people need the support of the entire community now to stop what I believe will be recorded in history as the biggest crime against the generation who worked hard and paid the highest rate of tax in the word for their entire lives only to find themselves abandoned by a heartless government.

And your rant relates to the question how?

38! Love it! Good fun, with plenty of life to live!
Sorry donjo
You are right I should have just made a silly pointless comment about age that allowed people to continue to ignore real social issues and be happy all the way to third world status without resistance.

I get you, but there're far better ways, & to write to someone who maybe able to help you, than this site.

The power of one in many places is all we have
Kind regards
