Work, because it gets in the way of leisure.
I was fortunate enough to work in a career which was both my passion and a good earner.I can honestly say that I did not once wake up and think to myself,'I do not want to go to work today!" I was raised to believe that if you enjoy your job, then you will never work a day in your life, and in my case, this definitely proved true!!!
I've found that if I end up working, doing something I enjoy, that thing I enjoy just becomes work, and loses its appeal.
Pain!!! If I could even have a single day without this element in my life,I would literally Jump for joy!!!
I can relate to that Jules -not nice!
Thank you so much:only someone who has pain, knows what it can be like!! But I can still find so many wonderful things to smile about, and I am so fortunate compared to many who suffer even more severely than I do. It's all relative, really, isn't it?
Washing clothes...I do over a dozen full loads a week!
I get tired doing it...it's not much fun now.
that many jonaj?? but you don't have small children...
It's just me and my 21 yr old.
But....he changes a bit, and I like to keep the sheets clean too.
I don't really know where it all comes from? it's a mystery!
Can't he help you out with it?
Honestly...I have shown him the big white machine in the laundry.
I told him it's called a 'washing machine'?
He looked at me, smiled and said ''Mum I love you and your sense of humour''.
Bless his heart.
I'm aiming for 2015 the year he will open the lid on it, and 'maybe'? put something in.
2016...is going to be a huge year! he will not only look at the big white monster, and even open it's lid & put something in it...but, turn on a nob and
add washing liquid.
That's what I'm aiming for. :)
My son is two and already wants to help me with the washing (he passes me wet clothes from the basket when I'm hanging them out). I expect the novelty will wear off soon, but he'd better be able to do it for himself by 21 if he is still creating a dozen loads a week! I SO don't have time for that.
Yes all my boys did the same at that young age...but they grow and later change...lol..lol.
Sad to see that when he leaves home he will have no idea how to help around the house.
Kitchen clean up - washing up and especially cleaning the oven.
Hello Lynne....
Problem A solved by getting a Dishwasher; there is even a bench-top half size one!
Problem B solved by getting Ovenu company in to clean oven. They also do stovetop & exhaust fan cleaning.
The above is money well spent! Cheers!
Hi Lynne, I have an old self cleaning oven. which never needs cleaning. Super!
(That;s why it's called a self cleaning oven!)
I have an old self cleaning oven, Lynne, which cleans it's self! That's why it's called a self cleaning oven!
