Hair loss can be due to many reasons such as hormonal changes, diet, genetics, medication, wrong use of product and so on. It may have emotional effects towards a woman's well-being hence the importance of preventing hair loss.

What are the effective ways of preventing hair loss? Any type of food intake or products that improve hair growth?

A head massage is excellent for blood circulation which in turn can help with strengthening hair. Vitamins and supplements, especially iron and folic acid can also help reduce hair loss. I have also heard that taking probiotics can have a positive effect on hair.
I find shampooing hair once a week instead of regularly, using loads of conditioner, washing hair in cold water, sleeping well and maintaining a health diet are great in reducing hair loss.
Avoid tying up the hair too tight or long hours
Diet is a main consideration. eating healthy food ensures healthy hair that does not thin out.
No idea but I loved reading this - my hair falls out all the time (not going bald just have to clean it up!)
