I don't generally mop myself unless there is a spill or dogs somehow make a mess, or I make a mess of the kitchen floor, which I sometimes do while cooking.

It gets mopped properly, and fully, every two weeks.

It probably needs it every week however this is a movement that is a problem for me.

It must suck to want to do stuff and not be able to. :/ I hope you get help for some of it.
I clean the floors every 10 days or so,though I SWEEP them sometimes twice a day, depending on the dog fur which is never ending in its presence!! With my crippling condition, and not wanting to get someone in to do my housework,I find the Steam Mops absolutely wonderful! My son got a really superior one as a gift when buying a rather expensive vacuum cleaner,so he is going to let me have this, which will be better by far than anything I had had up til now! I am so lucky to have such a supportive young man for my son!
Good stuff, Jules. I use a steam mop too. I find they are great.

Once a week plus whenever it gets something spilled on it (children make puddles).
Every couple of weeks or extra if I have to babysit (yuk!) as I don't like babies on a doggy floor. Sometimes I let it slide a bit - no use mopping in torrential downpour weather. I just go over with a swiffery thing to get the worst off.

Once every couple of weeks

I clean ALL the floors in the house once a week. I don't like to be too precious about it. We really are not dirty people who get our floors that dirty. I suppose I might clean it twice a week if there were crawling kids, but we had baby doors to keep our kids AWAY from the kitchen,as there are many hazards to be had there, and no one wants a baby underfoot when trying to prepare a meal. We do it weekly as we are not dirty people.
Yes, Lluxi, we had solid timber gates on kitchen door, at 2', then 4' high, then had an Aluminium sliding Door installed to keep kids' OUT of kitchen, when I was doing ANY cooking. Latch was at 6' height.
They could see me, but not enter. Peace of mind for me, safety for the children!

Swept daily, mopped weekly, then each three months', done again by cleaning lady.
As is food preparation area, I like to keep it clean as possible!
I don't wet mop that often because I have a large carpet mat in the kitchen over a sealed slate floor so I would vacuum instead so it stays relatively clean but it is swept daily, including the carpet
With the time I've had off from uni, I've been mopping once a week. When I go back, I imagine it'll slow down to once a fortnight - if I'm lucky.

Usually weekly, unless I spill something.
Twice a week,
maybe 3 times.I love things very very clean.

I never ever use a mop.
That's germ central. :(

I use a small rags and then soak them after in disinfectant, in a old bucket outside, and then hang them up for next time.

Works very well for me, but we do not have a large area to clean.
Once a week mopping all wet areas. Sweep it when the crumbs begin to crackle under my feel.
Because I am very health conscious, I mop up most spills immediately, because the last time I didn't, I went for a major spill.
No, just joshing !
Every 1-2 weeks. I like the end result, but dislike the actual doing, so I put it off longer than I should!
Ditto!

We have the bucket, but we've lost the mop that came with it, so it's been a while. We have cork tiles, so 1 doesn't notice any dirt really, & it's only us 2 in the house anyway.
