I haven't been to an opticians in years. The only reason I'd go was if something was wrong.
I've never had my eyes checked. Perhaps I should...

Every 6-8 months! I like to have regular checkups - I feel safe and alert that way.
Once a year
Not often enough. Should be once a year.
Yes I have my eyes tested every year....No matter what...
Once in 6 months.
I haven't had them checked since I had laser vision eye surgery about 10 years ago. After my initial post-op checkups I haven't had any need to.
Not unless there is an issue. Must get them checked at least once a year.
Annually because I wear glasses for reading. I would rather maintain my eyesight and get to any problems early. Prevention is better than cure.
At least once a year.
I go every 6 months as I have glaucoma. My eyesight has not changed at all thank goodness. I would hate to lose my eyesight. With glaucoma moat people have no idea they have it. It is too late to go see the doctor when you notice something is wrong with your eyesight. If you go yearly for your check up, any changes in sight could be prevented or picked up early. Surely preventing any loss of sight and the need for glasses is important....but once the damage is done!!! Its the same with any illness, people leave it too late to go to the doctor.
Mine have to be checked annually because my mobility permit calls for a medical and eye testing. Why they don't combine both licence medical and mobility medical into one test I can't fathom as the questions are the same apart from my doctor having to re-affirm that I still require the permanent mobility pass.
I have an eye test usually when they send me a reminder, and that would be once a year, I am short sighted and I like to know if my vision is the same or worse.
Every 2 years.
